Dear Friends and Family,



I am writing this short update to ask you to pray for Peter. I know many of you are already praying for him and we appreciate your prayers so much. We have experienced God working so deeply in our lives and in spite of the intense struggle and constant pain and sleepless nights we are both more aware than ever of the power, the mercy and the goodness of God. The revelation of who He is and the manifestation of His presence in our lives is so real and so awesome and we are so grateful to Him. We have been in a season of emotional healing, spiritual growth and renewing of the mind. It has been awesome and we would honestly not be without all the things that we have experienced, learned and changed.



At the same time it is just plain hard. The itching, which had decreased about 25%, has now increased to well beyond what it’s ever been. The doctors do not know what to do; we don’t know what to do, apart from cry out to God, sometimes every minute for hours. God always comes through and we experience a strengthening in our minds and a peace within the situation but the physical suffering does not end and Peter is in so much agony. Now with the summer time getting warmer and warmer he is becoming even more miserable as the heat just makes the itchng that much worse. We are desperate for the healing to be manifest! We believe that we have the promise of healing and that the healing has already been released, but we need to see a breakthrough NOW!



Please would you pray with us for BREAKTHROUGH! Not for grace, not for healing, but for the BREAKTHROUGH! That whatever it is that is prohibiting this healing would be torn down and that Peter would be set free. Peter is going to the doctor tomorrow (Thursday) to get his eyes tested, as he has had terrible problems with his eyes lately. This is one of the ways that you can sometimes detect Sarcoidosis, the other disease that we suspect (and finally now the doctor’s here as well) Peter has. The truth, however, is that barring a miracle there is very little that can be done for him. He has already taken the medicine that they give for Sarcoidosis, which will sometimes deal with the symptoms and it didn’t help. We don’t really care what he has; we just want this done now!



Would you stand with us and fight for this breakthrough! We want to storm the gates of hell and tear down the enemies strongholds and we want to storm the gates of heaven for the release of power to see the enemy crushed under our feet!



In Psalm 37:9 David writes that “those who wait on the Lord will inherit the land”. That word “wait” actually means “to lie in wait as in to set up an ambush”. It’s not a matter of waiting around until something happens! It is setting up an ambush! We want to set up an ambush against the enemy and take him down! This is enough and we are going to inherit the promises of God that He has given to us!



We so appreciate your love, your concern and your prayers. When this is all over and we have seen the breakthrough, we know that our personal breakthrough will bring a corporate blessing to all who have prayed and fought and fasted and wept for us, and we believe that it will also bring a new release of faith and hope into everyone’s lives!
